Herman Cobb

Herman Cobb received his B.A. degree from Samford University and his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law. After law school, from 1968 to 1970, Mr. Cobb clerked for the Honorable Virgil Pittman, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Alabama. Mr. Cobb is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. Mr. Cobb has also served as city attorney for the City of Dothan, Alabama and president of the Houston County Bar Association. His main area of practice is civil litigation. Mr. Cobb is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Houston County Bar Association, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute. He is also a member of the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution and is on the Alabama State Court Mediator Roster. He has served as mediator and successfully resolved numerous cases. He is a member of Alabama Appleseed which serves to protect justice for Alabama citizens.
Leon A. Boyd V

Leon A. Boyd V received his B.S. degree from Troy State University in 2000. Mr. Boyd lettered four years in football at Troy while playing multiple positions on the offensive line. While at TSU, Bo was a member of the SGA Senate, Sigma Chi Fraternity, and selected among Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities. He graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 2003. Prior to beginning law school, Bo worked as a legislative assistant to Alabama Attorney General Bill Pryor. He is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and the Houston County Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice in the State of Florida. Bo is married to the former Hope Tillery of Troy. They have three children, Dow, Lillian, and Till.
John C. White

A graduate of Troy University at Dothan, John earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology. John is also a graduate of the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree. John is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, the Houston County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. He is also a 1991 graduate of the 166th session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. John's career began as a police cadet with the Dothan Police Department in May of 1973 at the age of 18. He progressed through all ranks and assignments until his retirement as a captain in November of 1993. On August 2, 1994, after being retired from the department for less than a year, he was appointed to the position of chief of police. John is a past president of the Exchange Club of Dothan as well as the Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police. He has also served on a large number of advisory boards throughout his career to include the U.S. Attorney's Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee for the Middle District of Alabama. Chief White has served as a full-time and adjunct faculty member at Troy University of Dothan. Chief White and his wife, Barbara, have two sons, Aaron, a firefighter-paramedic for the City of Dothan, Alabama, and Adam, a student and photographer at Auburn University. After serving as a professional police officer for 31 years with the City of Dothan, Alabama, Chief White retired in December of 2004 and joined the Cobb firm. He is a deacon at the Beulah Baptist Church of Dothan, Alabama.
H. Warren Cobb, Jr.

Warren Cobb received his B.S. degree from Auburn University in 2002. He graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 2005. During his time in law school, Warren worked with the Honorable Jeff Kirby at Pittman, Dutton, Kirby & Hellums in Birmingham, Alabama. Warren Cobb began practicing with Cobb, Boyd, White & Cobb shortly after his admittance to the Alabama State Bar in 2005. He was on the Dean's List every semester while attending law school and was invited to write for the Cumberland Law Review/Trial Journal. He is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, Alabama Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston County Bar Association. Warren's areas of practice include litigation, contract disputes, workers compensation, personal injury and property. Warren is married to the former Amy Wheeler of Selma. They have one daughter, Mary Drue Cobb. Warren and his wife are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Dothan, Alabama.
Denny L. Holloway

After enlisting in the Air Force, Judge Holloway obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant before receiving an honorable discharge. Judge Holloway received a B.S. degree from Troy University in 1973. He attended law school at the University of Alabama where he received his Juris Doctor in 1976. In 1978 he was commissioned as a first lieutenant in the Alabama Army National Guard where he served as a Staff Judge Advocate. Judge Holloway first held public office in 1985 when he became a District Court Judge for Houston County. He was later elected to as Circuit Judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit which is composed of Houston and Henry counties. Judge Holloway was reelected in 1994, 2000, and 2006. During the judge's military career he was active after the 9-11 attacks and served one year of active duty as a Judge Advocate attached to the Department of Homeland Security. In 2007 Judge Holloway retired from service having obtained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Judge Holloway has served as president of the local Lions. He is the father of four children and grandfather of five. After serving for more than 23 years as a judge, Judge Holloway retired from the bench in 2008. During his career he presided over thousands of cases, both civil and criminal. It is this vast knowledge and experience that Judge Holloway has brought to the Cobb firm. Judge Holloway currently practices in the areas of general practice, personal injury, domestic relations and criminal law. Judge Holloway is also is a certified mediator.
David W. Rousseau

Born in Dothan the son of a peanut farmer and cattleman and an elementary teacher, Mr. Rousseau grew up in Hartford, Alabama. After graduating from Geneva County High School, Mr. Rousseau received a scholarship to Auburn University from the Auburn Wiregrass Alumni Association. Mr. Rousseau received a B.A. in Political Science (with high honor). While at Auburn Mr. Rousseau was inducted into both the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha.
After graduating from Auburn, Mr. Rousseau attended the Cumberland School of Law on a full tuition scholarship. While at Cumberland Mr. Rousseau was selected to be on the Cumberland Law Review. He received the Book Award for Conflicts of Law.
During his legal career Mr. Rousseau has had wide-ranging practice. He has participated in two capital murder trials, served as municipal court judge for two municipalities and as municipal prosecutor for two. He has represented insurance companies, municipalities, and small businesses, as well as people who have been injured.
Mr. Rousseau is actively involved in his church and community. Mr. Rousseau has served on the Board of Directors of the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate, has been the president of the Geneva County High School Alumni Association, and has been a member of the Geneva County and Alabama Republican Party executive committees. Mr. Rousseau and his family attend the First United Methodist Church of Hartford, Alabama. Among the positions he has held at his local church include lay leader, chairman of the Administrative Council, chairman of the Wills and Legacy Committee, membership secretary and Sunday school teacher.
Mr. Rousseau is married to his high school sweetheart, the former Kimberly Glover of Slocomb, Alabama. He is the proud father of three daughters—Amanda, a junior at Geneva County High School; Michelle, a sixth grader at Geneva County High School; and Sara, a fourth grader at Geneva County Elementary School.
