Herman was a unique, effective, and brilliant trial lawyer, but was an even better friend, mentor, and law partner. He was truly a lawyer's lawyer. Herman had an unmatched zest for life that was always on display in his professional and personal relationships. He could tell a story like no other and had an amazing ability to make everyone around him feel welcome and important. He is greatly missed.
